Therapeutic massage promotes general well-being and health, increases the circulatory system, stimulates immune systems to benefit blood pressure, circulation, muscle tone, digestion, and skin Massage therapy can assist the elimination of waste products, speed healing after injury, and enhance recovery from disease. When muscles are overworked, waste products such as lactic acid can accumulate in the muscle, causing soreness, stiffness, and even muscle spasm.  Therapist use different pressures, utilizing their hands as well as forearms, elbows, knees, feet and fingers. Through the use of touch, specific techniques are applied to reduce or eliminate physical problems.

THE FOLLOWING FORMS ARE AVAILABLE:

Swedish Massage uses several techniques to provide a relaxing treatment that increases circulation, helps strengthen muscle tone and calms the nerves.

Deep Tissue Massage utilizes techniques from a Swedish/ massage and also works on deeper layers of muscles through the connective tissue.  More friction or cross fiber manipulation of the tissue is used.

Aromatherapy Massage
blends essential oils. The oils are used to detoxify elimination system balance hormones and soothe emotional imbalance.  Aromatherapy oils have therapeutic properties ranging from antiseptic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage stimulates the lymphatic system to assist in the removal of toxins and waste.  This detoxifying treatment helps the lymph flow more efficiently resulting in:

Reduced puffiness and edema (swelling)
Stimulates lymphatic system
Enhances the health and beauty of the skin
Sports or Injury Massage works on specific area of body recovering from trauma.  Depending on when massage treatment is started, the type of intervention will vary.

Shiatsu is a healing method from Japan using gentle touch on specific energy channels (meridians) and points over the whole body. By applying external pressure and movement along these meridians, energy blocks are dissolved and natural life energies are freed to flow and create balance and harmony in the body-mind. Shiatsu eases pain, deeply relaxes body and mind, and strengthens the immune system, bringing about an overall feeling of well-being.

Hot Stone Massage uses hot stones to melt and heal muscle fibers. The hot stones increase circulation and relax muscular tension.

Japanese Hot Stone Massage similar to the Hot Stone massage, stones are used to stimulate to acupressure points.
